2026 年专业剪辑师最佳 AI 视频编辑工具盘点

Best AI Video Editing Tools for Professionals in 2026

For most professional editors, the AI built into Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve Studio or Final Cut Pro covers routine work: search, transcripts, captions, masking and dialogue cleanup. Add a separate tool only for jobs your timeline can’t do: changing what’s inside a shot (Higgsfield, Runway), upscaling and restoring footage (Topaz Video) or cutting dialogue from a transcript (Descript).

How We Chose These Tools

We picked tools that work on footage you already shot, export into a professional workflow and publish clear pricing. Three are professional editors with AI built in, one is a text-based editor, and three are add-ons for specific post-production jobs. We left out tools that only generate video from scratch.

The list starts with the editors, because that is where most of the work happens, and then moves to add-ons by task: dialogue editing, shot edits and image quality. We checked features and prices on each product’s official pages and release notes. We did not run a same-footage quality test, so this guide compares what each tool does, not how good its output looks.

Built-In AI or a Separate Tool: Which Do You Need?

Your editor’s AI is enough when the job is finding, transcribing, masking or cleaning up footage. A separate tool makes sense when you need to change what’s in the frame, improve image quality or edit mostly from a transcript. Most add-ons sit next to your editor rather than replacing it.

Built-In AI or a Separate Tool: Which Do You Need?

Task

Your editor’s AI covers it when

Add a tool when

Tool to add

Finding shots and lines

You search by face, object or spoken word (Media Intelligence, IntelliSearch, Transcript and Visual Search)

Built-in search covers this

None

Transcripts and captions

You need captions and a searchable transcript

You cut the whole piece from the transcript

Descript

Dialogue cleanup

One voice track needs noise removed (Enhance Speech, voice isolation)

Cleanup, filler-word removal and retakes are the main job

Descript

Masking and isolation

You need to separate a subject for color or effects (Object Mask, Magic Mask, Magnetic Mask)

You need to change the subject itself: wardrobe, product, background

Higgsfield, Runway

A few extra frames

A clip is slightly short for the cut (Generative Extend in Adobe Premiere)

You need a new lead-in or a longer extension

Higgsfield (Seedance 2.5 Extend)

Upscaling

An HD shot has to sit in a 4K timeline (SuperScale in Resolve Studio)

You restore archive footage, interpolate frames or convert SDR to HDR

Topaz Video

Lip sync

We found no lip sync tool in these editors

A line is re-recorded or dubbed

Higgsfield (Lipsync Studio)

Three examples:

  • A commercial editor whose client changes the product label after the shoot. A mask can isolate the label but can’t replace it. A shot-level edit in Higgsfield or Runway changes it, and the clip goes back on the timeline.
  • A documentary editor with hours of interviews. IntelliSearch in Resolve or Media Intelligence in Adobe Premiere finds mentions of a name across the footage. No extra tool needed.
  • A post team delivering old, interlaced footage in a 4K timeline. SuperScale in Resolve Studio can upscale HD shots to 4K. Footage that also needs deinterlacing, denoising or frame interpolation goes through Topaz Video.

Adobe Premiere: Best for Teams in the Adobe Workflow

Adobe Premiere (formerly Premiere Pro) is Adobe’s timeline editor and part of Creative Cloud. Version 26.5 (September 2026) added a Generative Media Tool, Paper Edit for building a sequence from transcript selections, and wider Generative Extend support.

Best for: editors and teams that already share projects with After Effects, Photoshop and Adobe’s other apps.

Media Intelligence and the Search panel let you search footage by content, and Speech to Text creates transcripts and captions, including translated captions. Enhance Speech and other dialogue tools clean up voice tracks. Object Mask isolates people and objects, and the 26.5 update added new controls for smoother mask edges. Generative Extend adds frames to video and audio clips and now supports footage from 360p to 4K UHD, any aspect ratio and interlaced material.

Generative features in Premiere run on Adobe Firefly and partner models, and Adobe meters them with generative credits. The Premiere plan includes 25 credits a month; Creative Cloud Pro includes 4,000. The number of credits each use takes depends on the feature.

Adobe Premiere is subscription-only, and the single-app plan includes a small credit allowance for generative features compared with Creative Cloud Pro. If you want a one-time license, Resolve Studio or Final Cut Pro fits better.

DaVinci Resolve Studio: Best for Color, Finishing and a One-Time License

DaVinci Resolve combines editing, color, visual effects (Fusion) and audio (Fairlight) in one app. Version 21 (June 2026) added IntelliSearch, CineFocus and a Speech Generator, and IntelliScript now reads Final Draft and plain-text scripts. Its AI tools run on the DaVinci Neural Engine.

Best for: colorists, finishing editors and post houses that want editing and grading in one app without a subscription.

IntelliSearch finds people, objects and spoken words and returns the results as clips. IntelliScript compares a Final Draft or plain-text script with the transcribed audio and builds a cut of the scene. Magic Mask isolates and tracks people and objects, SuperScale creates 4K and 8K images from HD sources, and UltraNR reduces noise. On the audio side, voice isolation, Dialogue Separator and Music Remixer split and clean tracks.

Resolve Studio costs $295 as a one-time purchase, and Blackmagic’s pages mention no AI credits or per-use fees. Blackmagic describes the Neural Engine as using GPU acceleration on Mac, Windows and Linux, so performance depends on your hardware.

Many Neural Engine features, including Magic Mask, SuperScale, Smart Reframe and voice isolation, are listed as Studio-only, so the free version doesn’t include them.

Final Cut Pro: Best for Mac-Based Editors

Final Cut Pro is Apple’s editor for Mac and iPad. Version 12.4 shipped in September 2026, and Apple announced a November update for Apple Creator Studio subscribers with built-in MotionVFX, image generation and 23 new transcription languages.

Best for: solo editors and small teams working on Apple silicon Macs.

Magnetic Mask separates people and objects from the background without a green screen. Transcript Search and Visual Search find lines and shots, Generate Captions creates captions, and Edit Detection and Auto Mask were added in June 2026. Smooth Slo-Mo generates in-between frames, and Enhance Light and Color and Voice Isolation handle quick fixes.

Final Cut Pro costs $299.99 as a one-time Mac purchase, or comes with Apple Creator Studio at $12.99 a month. Apple describes Generate Captions, Edit Detection and Auto Mask as on-device AI, and we found no credit system. Some premium content is available only to Creator Studio subscribers.

Final Cut Pro runs only on Apple devices. Transcript Search, Visual Search and Generate Captions require a Mac with Apple silicon. Mixed Mac and Windows teams are better served by Adobe Premiere or Resolve.

Descript: Best for Interview and Dialogue-Driven Edits

Descript is a video and audio editor where you cut by editing the transcript: delete a sentence in the text and it disappears from the timeline. Its AI agent, Underlord, handles editing tasks from a chat prompt.

Best for: podcast producers, interview-based series and editors who build a rough cut from dialogue before finishing elsewhere.

Studio Sound removes background noise and enhances voices, and Remove filler words cuts filler words from the edit. The app also includes Eye Contact, Green Screen, AI speech and video translation.

Descript meters AI work with AI credits and media minutes. The Creator plan ($35 a month, billed monthly) includes 800 AI credits and 30 hours of media a month and exports in 4K; the Hobbyist plan ($24) exports in 1080p. Studio Sound and Remove filler words cost at most 30 credits per file, and unused credits don’t roll over.

Descript is built around speech, so it adds less to projects without dialogue, such as music videos or action-heavy spots. Monthly credit and media limits matter for teams with large volumes of footage.

Higgsfield AI: Best for Editing and Extending Shots With Several Models

Higgsfield is a generative platform for creative production, with 35+ frontier models for generating images and turning them into video scenes. For post-production, it edits existing clips with models such as Kling 4.0 and Seedance 2.5.

Best for: commercial and social editors who need to change or extend a shot after the shoot without a reshoot.

Kling 4.0’s Edit video mode changes a character, product, background, camera angle or visual style in an existing clip. It edits one clip at a time, can use reference images or videos to guide the edit, and outputs 3 to 30 seconds in 720p or 1080p. Seedance 2.5 Edit changes only the area you mark on the frame or describe in the prompt, such as a label or wardrobe. Seedance 2.5 Extend adds new footage after the end of a clip (Sequel) or before its start (Prequel), for example a new lead-in.

Higgsfield also includes video upscaling with models such as Topaz Video and Topaz Starlight Precise. Lipsync Studio syncs a clip to new audio or typed text. For existing footage, it uses video-to-video models such as Kling Lipsync and Sync Lipsync 3, which outputs up to 4K. The exact credit cost of each edit shows on the Generate button. Kling 4.0 Edit video and Seedance 2.5 are available from the $49 plan with 1,000 credits a month.

Edited clips go back into Adobe Premiere, Resolve or Final Cut Pro, and longer scenes are handled shot by shot. Each Kling 4.0 edit covers up to 30 seconds at up to 1080p, so longer scenes are edited shot by shot and upscaled separately for 4K delivery.

Runway: Best for Shot-Level Edits With Aleph 2.0

Runway is an AI video platform with its own models and a timeline inside its Agent. Aleph 2.0, released to paid plans in May 2026, edits existing footage from a text instruction: you change one frame and the model updates the rest of the clip to match.

Best for: editors who want shot edits and plugins for Adobe Premiere, After Effects or DaVinci Resolve.

Aleph 2.0 can change an element (“make the sneakers red”), add or remove objects, reframe a shot and apply an edit across related shots. You can preview the edit as an image before generating. Runway also offers 4K upscaling, SAM3 video segmentation that exports a subject as a transparent clip, and frame-rate conversion on higher plans.

Aleph 2.0 costs 140 credits per 5 seconds, so the Standard plan’s 625 monthly credits ($15) cover about 22 seconds of Aleph edits. Pro ($35) has 2,250 credits and Max ($95) has 9,500. Standard and Pro credits don’t roll over. Since August 2026, Aleph 2.0 and Gen-4.5 generations can be exported as ProRes 4444 or PNG sequences on higher plans.

Aleph 2.0 edits clips up to 30 seconds at 1080p. Teams that only need upscaling or cleanup won’t use most of the platform.

Topaz Video: Best for Upscaling and Restoration

Topaz Video is a desktop app for Mac and Windows that enhances existing footage: it upscales old or low-resolution video to 4K and above, reduces noise and blur, deinterlaces and creates smooth slow motion. It works as a standalone app or as a plugin.

Best for: post houses and archive projects that need to bring old, low-resolution or noisy footage up to the quality a delivery requires.

Topaz says the app includes over 20 AI enhancement models. Its feature list covers Starlight, enhancement models, Motion Deblur, Grain, frame interpolation, SDR to HDR and stabilization, so restoration steps happen in one app before footage goes back to the timeline.

The Personal plan costs $59 a month and includes unlimited local rendering and 25 video cloud credits a month. On Personal, commercial use is limited to organizations under $1M in annual revenue; the Pro plan adds full commercial use, more pro models and 100 cloud credits a month. Starlight Sharp, HQ and Fast don’t run locally on Macs or AMD GPUs.

Topaz Video only enhances footage: it doesn’t cut, mask or change what’s in the shot. For a single HD shot in a 4K timeline, the upscaler in your editor may be enough.
